Know the risks that matter, and who owns them.

Risk strategy for owners, developers and boards who need risk handled as work, not as a list. Every risk is scored before and after treatment, carries an owner and a review date, and is only closed on evidence — inside the ACC Risk Register that the project team already works from.

How is risk handled differently from a risk list?

As work. Every risk is scored for likelihood and consequence before and after treatment, carries an owner, a task and a review date, and is only closed on evidence — inside the ACC Risk Register the project team already works from.

When should the risk register be set up?

At project start, through identification workshops. An existing register can also be reviewed and re-scored, and dispute or commercial exposure can be brought into the same register.

What does the board see?

Heat-map and trend reporting, the treatment plan with owners and due dates, risk review minutes and the closure evidence — presented as a risk strategy statement for the project.

What do I receive?

An actionable risk register with inherent and residual scores, a treatment plan, risk review minutes and closure evidence, heat-map and trend reporting and a risk strategy statement.

How is a risk strategy engagement scoped?

The scope of every engagement is defined in a written proposal or consultancy agreement so you know what is included before work starts. Submit an enquiry on this page and an ACC consultant will come back to you with a reference number and the next step.
