// Assurance · Independent Certification & Assurance

Verified on evidence, not on assurance alone.

Independent certification and assurance for owners, financiers and boards who need the project position verified by someone outside the delivery team. We inspect, check the evidence against the contract and the compliance framework, and report what is verified — and what is not.

Straight answers before you appoint.

What does independent assurance verify?

Progress and quality against the contract and programme, compliance and certification evidence (inspections, test records, certificates), contractor claims and reported progress, and non-conformances with their corrective actions.

Who relies on the assurance report?

Owners, financiers and boards who need the project position verified by someone outside the delivery team. The report states what is verified and what is not.

How does this relate to statutory certification?

ACC reviews the certification evidence and the compliance position and reports on it. Statutory certification itself is confirmed with the appropriately qualified certifier or authority where required.

What do I receive?

An independent assurance report with the verified / not-verified position, an evidence register with verification status, a compliance and certification checklist, a non-conformance and corrective-action register extract and a financier or board assurance statement.

How is an assurance engagement scoped?

The scope of every engagement is defined in a written proposal or consultancy agreement so you know what is included before work starts. Submit an enquiry on this page and an ACC consultant will come back to you with a reference number and the next step.
