// Cost & Value · Cost Planning, Estimating & BOQ

Every number traceable to a measured quantity.

Cost planning, estimating and bill-of-quantities preparation through the integrated ACC Take-Off. Quantities are measured from your drawings — or brought in from Buildxact as an authorised source and reviewed by ACC — then priced into a BOQ and rolled into a cost plan that moves with the project from order-of-magnitude to contract.

Straight answers before you appoint.

How does ACC produce a bill of quantities?

Quantities are measured from your drawings through the ACC Take-Off register — or brought in from Buildxact as an authorised source and reviewed by ACC — then priced into a BOQ by element and trade and rolled into a staged cost plan.

What are the cost plan stages?

Order-of-Magnitude, Elemental, Pre-Tender, Tender and Contract. The cost plan moves through these stages with the project, and each figure remains traceable to a measured quantity.

Can ACC review a builder's or Buildxact estimate?

Yes. Builder and contractor quotations are reviewed against the measured BOQ for scope gaps, exclusions and pricing reasonableness; Buildxact estimates are imported, reconciled and approved by ACC — never used unreviewed.

What do I receive?

A measured take-off register with drawing references, a priced bill of quantities (Excel / PDF), a staged cost plan with base cost, escalation allowance and adjusted total, a pricing review report and a tender-ready BOQ package.

How is a cost planning engagement scoped?

The scope of every engagement is defined in a written proposal or consultancy agreement so you know what is included before work starts. Submit an enquiry on this page and an ACC consultant will come back to you with a reference number and the next step.
